LG tends to be behind most manufacturers when it comes to issuing updates around the world, and those LG G7 ThinQ is no exception. The phone received Android Pie in South Korea back in January, and the update seems to be coming to more users.
LG does not yet have an official statement regarding the availability of regional / carrier, but you may want to look at the upgrade if you are in Europe or the US anyway.
The Android Pie update weighs 1.4GB, and it has to bring many features to the table. According to the Korean exchange rate, the update delivers gesture navigation, battery saving measures, a screen rotation shortcut, and the LG V40S cinngagraph functionality.
It's disappointing that LG made the update available about ten months after the first update. In fact, we ranked LG tenth on us list of manufacturers who was the fastest to issue pie updates. It's not good for LG G7 owners who want it Android Qbut hopefully the Korean company is increasing its efforts in 2019.
