With the Galaxy Tab S5 Rumors to debut the Galaxy Note 10, Samsung can also work on a smaller 8-inch tablet. Refer to the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019), the tablet has in the Bluetooth SIG, Wi-Fi Alliance (PDF download), and Android Enterprise Solutions Directory at different points this week.
According to the listings, the tablet features an 8-inch screen with 1,280 x 800 resolution, single back and front cameras, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 429 processor, 2 GB RAM, 32 GB storage space and Android 9 Piece. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) features NFC, a fingerprint sensor and a robust build.
We don't know much more about the tablet, although the Bluetooth SIG list reveals five models: SM-T295, SM-T295N, SM-T295C, SM-T297 and SM-T290. Everything except the SM-T290 includes support for LTE, which means we can see four Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) variants launched across multiple carriers.
Finally, the tablet apparently looks away with the home and capacitive buttons.
Given the specifications, don't expect the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) to manage a high price. As far as availability is concerned, Samsung has Galaxy Tab A 10.5 in August 2018. We will not be surprised if Samsung waited until August this year for a formal announcement.
