WhatsApp working on ability to share contact via QR code, Facebook Stories integration (Latest version)

The WhatsApp team may have worked overtime to download high profile mining last week, but it seems the team is also working on some new features.

According to serial leaker WABetaInfo, the Facebook-owned team is working on the ability to share your WhatsApp Stories on Facebook. The source indicates that you will eventually find an "Add to Facebook Story" option in your WhatsApp Status page. This button is only expected to appear if you have the Facebook application installed on your phone. Look at the option in the first photo below.

The second addition by WABetaInfo (see the second photo above) is QR code functionality to share your contact. The feature will apparently be accessible via your profile, and allow people to add you by scanning your code with the WhatsApp camera.

The tipster points out that you can also revoke your QR code if you don't want it to work any more. This probably does not mean people who have obtained your number with this method, but it will prevent other people from adding your number to this route.

This is not the only upcoming WhatsApp feature, as the typist recently reported that night off come too. This option looks gray instead of OLED-friendly black, but it still needs to be easier.
