The Xiaomi Mi Band Series is one of the most popular portable devices for good reason. The fitness band meets the Xiaomi way to offer many features at a fair price. We heard murmurings from a Mi Band 4 recently, and the Chinese brand started its next budget fitness tracker today.
Along with the rumors, we look at a larger AMOLED screen (0.95 inches) here compared to the Mi Band 3's monochrome screen (0.78 inches). We also designed a 5ATM water file (up to 50 meters), a six-axis sensor, AI assistant functionality (via Xiaomi's Xiao AI assistant) and a heartbeat monitor.
Other notable features include alarm functions, a stationary reminder, sleep detection, notification mirroring, smart home integration, and Bluetooth 5.0.
The standard version packs a 135mAh battery that lasts up to 20 days, while the Mi Band offers 4 NFC a 125mAh battery that delivers up to 15 days of juice. For comparison, the Mi Band offered a 110mAh battery which is also claimed for 20 days.
The Xiaomi Mi Band 4 starts at 169 yuan (~ $ 24), but you can also splash 229 yuan (~ $ 33) for the Mi Band 4 NFC. The latter model, as the name suggests, offers NFC Ability for fast payments. There is no word yet on a larger version, but you can check the Chinese shopping list entry here or see the Mi Band 3 on Amazon via the button below.
